About Us
About Us
Hearts of Hope Community Care is dedicated to building stronger, more connected communities by uplifting both seniors and children. We enhance the dignity, health, and independence of low-income seniors through compassionate services and social engagement, while also providing children with safe transportation, nourishing meals, and faith-based programs that nurture resilience and hope. Together, we create pathways of care that bridge generations and ensure no one is left behind.
We also strive to provide:
Practical tools and resources for everyday care
A place to ask questions and connect with others
Emotional support for seniors and caregivers alike
Guidance through the confusing parts of aging and caregiving
Our Vision:
A community where every senior has access to the support they need to live a safe, healthy, and connected life regardless of income.
Our Story:
Hearts of Hope CC began from a simple idea — that no senior should have to choose between food, health, and dignity. With one shared SUV, a small team of volunteers, and generous partners like Second Harvest, Longos, Sai Dham Food Bank, and Zion Apostolic Church, we’ve grown into a community lifeline for seniors across Scarborough.
We understand the challenges of aging and of caring for someone who is.
That’s why Hearts of Hope was created:
A calm, supportive space where seniors, caregivers, and families can find trusted information, emotional reassurance, and a real sense of community.
